The main product of Sugar Energy Technology 5-hydroxymethylfurfural(HMF)is derived from a wide range of biomass raw materials(starch, cellulose, sucrose, AGAR, etc.), with a scarce bioactive functional group and aromatic structure, which can not only help other biobased materials improve performance but also contribute a broader modification space for traditional fossil-based products.

Our products are mainly used in packaging, new energy, fine chemicals, textiles, transportation, building materials, animal husbandry, medicine, and other industries.

Sugar Energy took in the world to open the continuous production technology of 5-hydroxymethylfurfural (HMF) industrialization for 1000-ton fructose production. Based on the stable operation of the HMF 100-ton line for 1 year, the 1000-ton production line was put into operation in July 2023, and the quality of HMF products and batch stability were improved simultaneously, and the production capacity reached 2000 tons/year.

The company currently has more than 80 employees, including more than 40 professional and technical personnel.
